this is my beginning

This is my first blog, its part of an email i just wrote to my friend who is currently in Guatemala.

It pretty much gives you an idea of where i am at right now.

so much i want to write, so stoned. man. here is my top news. I have started a two week cleaning detox program. why, you ask. I really felt like my body needed to get rid of all its toxins, literally. I realized i have all this anger inside me. Plus, I've been drinking way too much.
For what I give up over these next two weeks, I will be rewarded with a clean liver, kidneys, blood. Most important hopefully a renewed mind, body and spirit. The program ends coincidentally the day I get to Guatemala! I may have to treat myself there! This whole detox idea, hit me yesterday morning when I was bike riding... hungover, embarrassed of my actions. stupid overall. again i will explain when i see you. this will be an interesting two weeks.

I do have and have had all day a slight headache, the no caffeine for sure is gonna be the hardest, and yea the no alcohol is bad but actually now that i think about it,SUGAR will be that thorn in my two week detox side! I don't consider my self to have a huge sweet tooth, minus a slight CHOCOLATE addiction! I mean , I don't use sugar in my coffee, ok i should say anymore. I did once upon a day put up to and lots of the time more then ten sugars in a large dunkin donuts iced coffee. Sugar is everywhere. At the photo store candy on the counter! Fuck I just realized its HALLOWEEN, man chocolate is gonna be everywhere. I was at whole foods today, stocking up all the foods I CAN EAT, man i have never read so many labels, and the most common word in everything was SUGAR. Basically I can't eat anything packaged. I bought lots of grains, no wheat, can't have gluten, bread, etc...Ever hear of Amaranth? http://www.chetday.com/amaranth.html I didn't till I decided to venture upon this detox regimen. It tastes good and was once a sacred and staple grain for the Columbian Aztec, but forbidden by the Spanish. Lastly, no dairy. I should have paid more attention when I had that last piece of cheese on Saturday.
